I never expected fiction to be as powerful as when I got introduced to Haddasah in A Voice In The Wind ( the first Francine Rivers book I read).

Sometimes I read her book and start speaking in tongues and cry-praying. I’ve never read a Francine Rivers book that didn’t minister to me or reveal some nasty things about my heart that made me want to change. I reading the AD Chronicles at the moment and it pretty cool, as well Fatherless and Childless By Dr James Dobson and Kurt Bruner They are great reads but pretty full on.And the shofar blew review: Buildings, ego and a Humpty dumpty fallĮver since I discovered Francine Rivers and her writing in secondary school, I’ve been hooked. Beverly Lewis is cool if you like Amish Stuff. Have tried for ages to find an Author as good as Francine Rivers but its very hard. It follows the lives of 4 generations of women in the same family, The lives they lived, and the effects and relationships on the daughters down the line as a result. But a totally excellent book showing such a wide variety of Characters, and how the respond (or don't) to God's Grace.ĭon't Know if you have read her mother Daughter Series, Mothers Hope and Daughter dream. How he saw so many times What the Power of 'Haddasah's God' Could do, But managed to not really get it. Love Mark of the Lion, One of the Character that Intrigued me most was the Doctor. lol I find you get to the certain point in her books, which I call the point of no return, where you HAVE to keep reading to find out what happens at the end even if you are up till 2am. The only problem I have with Francine Rivers is that she does not write books quick enough! Redeeming Love is my absolute favorite, I read it in under 12 hours, some how managing to take care of my family too. Have, read all of them except the Rose Trilogy But Have quite enjoyed other by Beverly Lewis.
